Review of TeamGym Europeans 2022 in Luxemburg

TeamGym Europeans took place in Luxembourg from 14 to 18 September 2022. CHOPAR was one of the event's partners.

We finally got to enjoy being with all the teams again when the Corona pandemic subsided. Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands didn’t participate in the 2020 (postponed to 2021) European Championships, while the other countries competed in two Europeans within a year. So not quite the usual preparation for Europeans for anyone!

The good things have been worth waiting for, because we again got to enjoy wonderful performances in both the Junior and Senior series. Denmark won three golds in the Juniors category and gold in the men's category. The senior mixed team gold was won for the first time by Great Britain and the women's series was convincingly won by Sweden.

From the qualifiers to the final, there is a tougher fight every year. The number of top teams increases and the level becomes more even, which means that handing out medals will be even more exciting in the future!

The competitions had a wonderful atmosphere again! The TeamGym audience rewards successful performances with thunderous applause and also cheers unlucky teams on their feet. Many spectators seem to also be fans of the Azerbaijan men's team after their great tumble performance! CHOPAR's stand was located by the main doors, and on Saturday's final day, we got to witness really long audience queues and sprints as people ran to get the best seats in the arena. The atmosphere of a big sports party!

CHOPAR had a great week in Luxembourg! We got to admire the splendor of the unitards and clothes and see what the trends are in 2022. Thanks again to everyone who went shopping at our stand and to those who bought EC products in advance.
