The development of EMPOWER - Underwear for gymnasts and cheerleaders
If you are a gymnast or a cheerleader, then you know the problem with see-through leotards and cheerleading uniforms. There is almost nothing worse than wearing a beautiful and unique outfit, which is ruined by the fact that you can see through it.
The underwear steals the focus. It takes the focus away from those watching, but also from yourself, because you will be worrying about where and when your underwear can be seen. We would like to solve that problem. We want to help you be the best, and that includes removing any worries about how your outfit will look on the floor.

You must start somewhere
We therefore went into the development of "invisible" underwear, and this has resulted in a few different models over time, including our NAJA top. The Naja top has been a good top for many gymnasts and cheerleaders. However, we heard from you that you were missing a top with a light padding in the front.
Naja has therefore been a very good starting point for further development. We went into a brainstorming session with our skilled designers but creating the perfect underwear for gymnastics and cheerleading doesn’t happen without its challenges. In the process, several prototypes were made, and they have been tested and corrected. Among other things, we worked a lot on finding the right and comfortable elastic for under the bust, and then we also faced challenges with the padding. The EMPOWER series currently consists of a sports top, an undersuit, 2 types of briefs and a pair of undershorts. We can't promise anything, but we are working on expanding the collection.

Marie Bukh and Emilie Siepmann tested
In the process with EMPOWER, it has also been important for us to get feedback from those of you who will use it. That's why we contacted the gymnasts Marie Bukh and Emilie Siepmann from TeamGym Aarhus Senior Ladies and asked them to test our underwear, so we were sure that it worked optimally for their purpose.
The first thing we asked was what the girls found important when choosing underwear for gymnastics. To this, both girls replied that the most important thing is that there are no seams and that it stays where it should, both during warm-up, performing and in jumping. Emilie explained in more detail that it is also important to her that the underwear is of a decent quality, so that it breathes. Both girls agreed that EMPOWER lives up to all their expectations of underwear for gymnastics, "I almost don't feel that I'm wearing it under the suit. I think it fits as it should and it doesn't slip when I train, plus I think it is breathable. The stitching is so well done, and you can't see them through the suit.” says Emilie.

Emilie mentioned that quality was an important element for her, and therefore we of course also asked a little about how the girls experienced the quality. It was agreed that the quality is really good. Marie pointed out that the fabric is thicker than she is normally used to - "Which makes me feel that the underwear fits better and stays in place during training and competition." Emilie continued, "I think that the design with the printed label on the back is really good, because you can't see it through the suit and you are free from having to cut a label off, where the remains sit and scratch. It's really well thought out!”

Emilie replied that she might feel that the back part is a little high, but that she still thinks they sit comfortably. Marie replied that she thinks the fit is really good, that the underwear is true to size, and that EMPOWER has become her favorite underwear under her gymnastics suit.
